Dear all
Just in case you have no plans for new years eve (not trying to suggest you are that sad, but you never know!!!!!) ?Elephant Juice? are playing at Dudley Conservative Club for a new years eve party. The tickets are an amazing ?5 which is better than anything else for that night. If you or any of your friends are interested, then tickets need to be bought in advance from either the club or any member of the band.

From Sam "Patient says, "Doc, you must check my leg. Something's wrong. Just put your ear up to my thigh, you'll hear it!"
The doctor cautiously places his ear to the man's thigh only to hear, "Give me ?10! I'm desperate! I need ?10!"
"I've never seen or heard anything like this before! How long has this been going on?" the doctor asked.
"That's nothing, Doc. Put your ear to my knee."
The doctor put his ear to the man's knee and heard it say, "Please! I really need ?5! Just ?5! Please! I'm desperate!"
"Sir, I really don't know what to tell you. I've never seen anything like this." The doctor was truly dumbfounded.
"Wait, Doc, that's not all of it. There's more. Just put your ear down on my ankle," the man urged him.
The doctor did as the man said and was amazed to hear his ankle plead, "Please, I just need ?20! Please lend me ?20, please! I am really desperate!"
"I am amazed!" the doctor said. "I've never come across anything like this in all of my years of practice and there's nothing about it in any of my books. But, I think I can tell you with some certainty, that your leg seems to be broke in three places."

Here I am at the airport cyber cafe waiting for my flight to Phuket. It's 9:25am... one hour till take off. Hope all you cyber skivers reading this while you should be working aren't feeling too envious... he he he
15 minutes away from the pool to write this diary entry. This resort is excellent, a collection of 5 five star hotels linked by boat around a lagoon. Excellent accomodation, food, beach, weather and time! Look it up on the web, it's the Allamanda Laguna hotel in Phuket ... gotta go.......
A weekend in the jungle in the Khao Yai national park. I took the camera and snapped away as usual. Here's the unusual photos:
Don't believe what you read above; Sunday is the 3rd not the second. But the bit about unusual photos is correct. This one took my fancy. In the hot jungle I saw this coach with a Xmas scene painted on the side. It really seemed out of place:
Then on the way home we stopped for lunch on this noodle boat. Note the kitchen!
A one day weekend due to staff training yesterday. Never mind, half term next week and I'm off to Phuket for the week.
