Raj

This is the man who gets ’em dancing with his most excellent tabla and dholak rhythms.

Raj practises every day without exception, and has done so all the years I’ve known him. He has a great respect for his instrument and for the musicians who have given him inspiration, in particular Tari.

Raj does find time for a few other interests including weight training, driving and soccer. His tastes in music include Phil Collins, Meatloaf (the artist formerly known as mince!), Michael Jackson and Prince (The Artist) — though his wife told me he’ll more likely be watching telly, as he’s a soap freak.

Having fewer wants, I am nearer to God.
