July is holiday time! This year I had planned a European tour:
GREECE
For the obligatory picture on the Acropolis I balanced the camera on a bag of cement and set the automatic picture taking function. What I didn't realise was that the cement bag wanted to be in the picture too (see bottom left).
After Athens, a three hour ferry trip to the island of Naxos where I celebrated my 45th!
ITALY
Two nights in Rome then a train trip up to the northern city of Genoa.
FRANCE
I hired a car, visited Nice and drove around Provence. After that met up with Chris and Graham for a canoeing trip down the Gorge du Tarn.
ENGLAND
A reunion of Thai friends in London
Finally a week at home in Wolverhampton, just in time for nephew Ben's Christening:
