Happy Birthday to my Nephew Jamie. Ten today.

When you think of me out here in Bangkok, capital of Tropical Thailand, what do you picture me doing? Well you are wrong... I've been ice skating today!

Monday 3rd

Had my arm twisted big time today. Wednesday is the last day of the school year and traditionally the big assembly celebrating the leaving staff. The teacher who normally does it, a very funny man, was going to be absent and they wanted someone to step in at the last minute.... hmmmm

Assembly went quite well but I did have to drop my trousers at one point... Ah well that's showbiz

Thursday 6th

School's finished but have been in as usual preparing for the summer school which starts next week.

7th to 9th

Last weekend away before going home for the summer... Pattaya .... Can recommend two great restaurants... PIC for Thai food and Zeppelin for German food.

Then back on Sunday ... Sak cooked a "farewell" meal for Zita:

First day of Summer School.

Went to cinema to see something else but ended up watching "Return to me". Predictable but a nice relaxing good-time film.

Wednesday 12th

Having lost miserably at squash for the last two weeks, I beat Sak today six games to zero... ha ha ha !

Flying home with Pauline on the red eye. (Not because it leaves at 11pm but because that's what I'll look like after celebrating my birthday before getting on the plane!)
