Midnight Hike

13th September

On the Saturday night at 8:00pm we met to go on the midnight hike. At about 8:50pm my group, Andy Peek, Stuart Farley, Andy Webber, Mikey Smith and Peter Cheese, were taken by number one to the bus stop outside the fire station. We waited until 9:40pm before the bus came. While we were waiting we saw some boys arguing in the fish and chip shop. Also Michael Smith dropped his torch and broke it.

Then the bus came so we got on. While we were on we saw those two drunk men who kept on falling out of their seat onto the floor. When we got off we had to go down some lanes. Michael Smith kept on saying "I'm at the front". We met No. 1 about 1 hour 30 minutes later. No. 1, Bosun and Skip were there getting the supper ready. We all had about 3 hamburgers by the time the other came.

On the way back we went through a grave yard. Peter Cheese said "I want my mom". Then Key said "your a baby cheesos-cracker". We arrived back about 2:30pm and then had some bug juice. After that we heard a ghost story which was not frightening. Then when No. 1 went to bed we started throwing things at each other. The next day we got up and had egg, bacon and cereals for breakfast.
