Friday continued. The international buffet was a bundle of fun because some of the sketches that we had to do were quite funny, and the leaders did some funny things. The buffet finished at about 11:00pm and then we went to bed.

Saturday 3rd August. The programme was rise, wash and breakfast at 8:00am, flagbreak and inspection at 10:00am, strike camp at 10:30am, lunch at 1:00pm, leave Ennerdale at 2:00pm and arrive in Wolverhampton at 5:00pm.

At 8:00am we woke up and had breakfast for the last time in Ennerdale, which was fritters, tomatoes and eggs. After breakfast we had flagbreak. Dunlin did flag up and the other patrol duties included Gannet weather, Kingfisher boots, Seagull stores, Mallard toilets, Redshank rubbish and Cormorant communications.

After inspection we went back to our sites and took down the tents, got the rest of the equipment and put it on the lorry. At around 1:00pm, when we had taken down the whole campsite, we had our lunch. Then the PLs checked each patrol site with the leaders and gave points for how good they were. At about 2:00pm we gathered around the flagpole for the final scores. The winners of the patrol competition were Dunlin, followed closely by Cormorant. The prizes were dished out, then we took the flagpole down, put it on the lorry, got on the coach and went back to Wolverhampton.
