The car rally

We started off at approximately 2:30 after solving a poem instructing us to go to the Bushbury Scout Headquarters. On the way we had to find numerous things. On arrival at Bushbury headquarters we were presented with another puzzle. We also had a throw at the dart board, unsuccessfully scoring a total of 4 of 3 darts. We soon worked out the quiz and proceeded en route.

After leaving Mr Thomlinson we were greeted at the next check point by an old man hiker. We then proceeded to Shareshill where we found Nigel riding around in his car with a six figure grid reference. We proceeded to the plotted place. We were met by Paul Cripps who presented us with a maze after numerous attempts by the six of us the 5 minutes were up.

We proceeded to a place in Cannock. In a cafe we found a very well disguised Jack and Squire sitting drinking a cup of tea with four crosses in front of them. We went to the Four Crosses pub and met Nigel O'Connor and Neil Quinton. Here we had a driving test. Hopefully we passed it.

The next clue sent us down the four ashes, straight mile, to the Four Ashes pub where we were greeted by Mark Thomlinson. We were shown a piece of a map about 2cm x 3cm and found the place on the map. We went to the place indicated on the map and found Mr and Mrs Tranter. We were asked three questions and got two right.

Proceeding to the next check point we were asked a question about the last road sign we had seen. We answered this correctly and then left the final check point, which was Bushbury Cemetery, and headed back towards the Scout Hut.

The top four were as follows: 1st The Prestons, 2nd The Cheeses, 3rd The Cunninghams, 4th The Onions. In last position were the Runners, who receive a booby prize. By Anonymous.
