Weekend Camp 18-19-20th October
Camp Cook
Requirements:
1. Cook and serve successfully one of the following: bacon and eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages with tomatoes, kippers, porridge.
2. Cook without utensils, but using foil, a two-course meal for yourself and at least one other person.
3. Cook and serve successfully one of the following: a stew with dumplings, a mixed grill, chicken Maryland, a main course dish of your own choice.
4. Cook and serve successfully one of the following: a steamed or boiled pudding, fruit fritters, stewed fruit and custard, a sweet of your own choice.
5. Draw up two menus, including quantities, of three courses each, all of which need require cooking, for a patrol of six.
Note: All dishes to be cooked under camp conditions.
Dishes chosen included bacon and eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages and tomatoes, mixed grill, pork chops, stew and dumplings, pancakes, stewed apples, angel delight, apples and custard, fruit and custard, fruit fritters and steam pudding.
