"Q id 219
I teach OCR maths gcse and aqa statistics gcse
with the 9-1 gcse they are very happy for cumulative frequency to be joined with line segments - and for many kids it gives a much better chance that the numbers they read off the graph will be within tolerance.
We do, however expect kids to join the cf graph to the x axis at the left hand boundary of the first group.
